DIY Felt Board

At one of our local libraries they have a very simple felt board that Trey has always LOVED playing with so when I was perusing Michaels last night I decided to pick up the supplies to make one at home!

I plan on framing the large piece I felt in a huge frame but figured I'd just tape it on the wall with painters tape in the interim.

This is SUCH an easy project, it's inexpensive and you can do so many shapes, colors, letters, numbers, eyc with it!

Supplies:
One huge piece of felt for the background
Frame/painters tape
Felt shapes
(felt sticks to felt so your pieces will stick just fine!)

And you're good to go! I think my total for everything was under $10 (and I'm hoping to find a fabulous frame on sale or at TJ Maxx!).

Trey hasn't seen this yet so I hope he's excited in the morning! Let me know if y'all make one (or already have one) is love to see!!

This is awesome! You could also look for a cheap canvas (even an already painted one at Goodwill or something) and staple it to the back of the canvas frame

This is definitely happening in our new house in the playroom. Definitely.

I want to paint one wall chalkboard but Ev won't let me, so this will just have to do.
