Trey's 1st Birthday Party Recap: Part One

This past Saturday we celebrated Trey's first birthday with a red, white and aqua themed "crabby" party! It was a perfect day that we shared with all of our friends and family. It went by in the blink of an eye, a whirlwind that I can only equate to the way I felt on our wedding day. At one point the hubs, Trey and I snuck away into a bedroom and just had an "us" moment where we hugged, kissed and smiled. It was absolute bliss.

I'll do this post in two parts - today will be an overall view of the day and tomorrow I will do a details post with info on where I purchased things or how I made them.

The party was held at my Uncle-in-law's home

Crab lanterns

"Guest book"

Favors for the babies

The "sweets" table

ABC cookies

Vanilla cake with buttercream icing! YUM!

I wanted to make sure I had things for the itty bitty party guests to snack on too!

White chocolate and dark chocolate s'mores on sticks!

Snaquarium animal cookies

We served BBQ

Potato salad in individual cups

All sorts of chips

Lots of fruit.

I also did a side of just blueberries for the little ones who haven't had strawberries yet!

This ended up housing mini red and blue gatorades

Smash!

Proud Parents

Glad I changed Trey's clothes for the cake smash

I hope you enjoyed this look into Trey's first birthday party!!

What a great party! You did a fantastic job! Trey really went at it with his cake! Jamie was more interested in actually eating it then playing in it...haha, which I guess it's what your supposed to do!

Wow!! That's quite the party that Trey got! A far cry from the cake and Hoodsies that I used to get as a little one. :-)
