My First Mother's Day

So this is completely late but I definitely wanted to share my amazing day with you.

Even though our sweet little one hasn't arrived yet the hubs was super sweet to me for Mother's Day and made sure I knew how much he appreciated me for carrying our little bean. He seriously just went above and beyond and being in the emotional-third trimester state that I am- I still tear up just thinking about it!

Here is the excitement that I came downstairs to on Sunday morning.

A new (pink and green!!) hydrangea. And yes, I killed our last one and I'm still very upset about it. I thought they were supposed to be easy to take care of? Cards, a decaf frappacinno (yum!), some beads for my pandora bracelet, a trip to get a very much needed prenatal massage and amongst all of this he was making me french toast (my absolute favorite) for breakfast! Husband of the year? The baby and I say yes!!

And he wasn't done spoiling me yet... this gorgeous gem was also part of the sweetness. I have always wanted an LV and now I am officially the proud owner of a Neverfull GM! I absolutely LOVE it! Lots of my "mom friends" love this bag for when you are on the go and don't need a full diaper bag. They said that it might not be great when he's super little but I can use it as a purse until then - and once he gets older it's the perfect size to throw his essentials and mine in!

During the day we made our rounds and visted with my Mother in law, and both of the hub's grandmas. It was exhausting but both my sister-in-law and my mother-in-law got to feel the little bean kicking and moving. They were both so excited and my MIL even said it was the best Mom's day gift she had ever gotten and that completely melted my heart!!

Family time, gifts and sweet gestures aside, I absolutely cannot wait for Mother's Day next year when he's here, that will be the most amazing gift of all!

That is so sweet that J.D. made your Mother’s Day before the little one arrives so special. You completely deserve it too! The hydrangea is so pretty and a massage will be wonderful. The Pandora bracelet must be starting to fill up now. Too cute! Breakfast and Starbucks was also a wonderful touch.

The Neverfull is an amazing gift and I absolutely love it. That is next one on my LV list! I was in the LV store Friday night and the lady was telling me that it’s the only bag that’s been tested and holds up to 400 lbs. Kind of unbelievable, but at least you won’t have to worry about what you put inside of it :)

I’m so glad you had a nice Mothery’s Day! XOXO
