Monogrammed Bangle: A Cricut Tutorial

Let me start this post off by saying that I have only had my cricut for a few hours. These are the first things that I have ever made with it (I have used machines before that have belonged to friends of mine - so I am somewhat familiar with them - but by NO means a pro!)

I knew I wanted to try out some of the vinyl that I bought when I ordered my machine right away so I figured "what the heck?" and got down to business!

Supplies:

Cricut Machine
Cutting mat
Any font cartridge - I used Plantin Schoolbook
Vinyl - I got this on Amazon but they have them at Michael's, AC Moore, etc
Transfer Tape - Picked up at Michael's
Bracelet/Bangle of choice - I found these in the $1 section at Michael's. They are smidge too big for my wrist so I'm going to keep my eye out for some smaller ones.

Step 1: Cut out your letters. I cut at a very slow setting, and slightly deep. I made the m's 1" and the S 1 1/2".

Step two: Peel your letters off of the vinyl and stick them onto your transfer tape.

Step 3: Adhere to your bracelet. Take the wooden stick and press down thoroughly before removing your transfer tape.

Step 4: All done!!!

This pink one is a gift for my sweet friend over at Preppy Girl Meets World

Let me know if you have any questions and PLEASE if you have any advice for me as a new Cricut owner please pass it my way!

It is so weird that you just posted this because I am currently all over Etsy looking at different monogrammed items and thinking to myself "I bet these are made with the cricut!"
