February Goals
1. Try out Stroller Strides & Little Gym with Trey
I bought a bundle pack for Stroller Strides on one of those "daily deal" sites back in November and I have yet to go try it out. Each week I have had great intentions. Each week something has came up and I haven't made it a priority. My blog friend, AP from I Love You More Than Carrots and her son Carter really love going and it seems like something Trey and I would really enjoy too.
I have heard mixed reviews on Little Gym so I have decided just to plan and go to the free class and see if it's something that is worth the money for Trey and I. From what I hear, it's pretty expensive and the Beach Bum household is on a much tighter budget these days. Hopefully if we love it I can find some sort of deal.
2. Lose 8 more lbs.
I have had the hardest time losing all of this baby weight. And there isn't any excuse, I just have. I lost a bunch the first few weeks after Trey was born and then it stalled. I joined Weight Watchers, loved it, and then Thanksgiving came, I gained, the new point system came, I felt like I couldn't get a grasp on it. And then the problems with my mom started up (if you follow me on Twitter, you know what I am referring to). And I just let it all fall apart.
So the first week of January I cancelled my membership. Right? Who cancels their WW membership at the beginning of the year? Isn't that when everyone joins?
But you know what - I'm down 7 lbs since then!!! I'm 3 away from my pre-pregnancy weight and 30 from where I'd like to be. I'm hoping that posting this will help keep me motivated! How many days till Summer?
3. Blog More
I really want to start blogging more regularly and posting comments on every one's blogs. I read them every single day on my iPhone but I rarely comment. I'm hoping to change this.
4. Get More Organized & Get on a Regular Cleaning Routine
I'm going to leave this one kind of open-ended and hopefully I will have some great projects to share with you.
5. Learn how to be more efficient at couponing and stocking up
I'm so bad about running out of things and not planning ahead. I would like to only grocery shop once a month, besides fresh items each week but I know that goal is way to big for me right now. So I'm starting small. I have all the diapers and wipes I can handle thanks to deal sites, Amazon Moms and Diapers.com and I hope to start stocking up on all household items such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc. I'll share some of these deals as I find them with you.
I'm excited to start working on these and I really hope I have some great things to report back to you at the end of the month!
What kind of goals are you setting for yourself?

Love your goals for this month! You can do it!
Good luck! What have you been doing to lose all this weight post weight watchers?
Good for you for posting your goals and I should do the same. I kind of keep them in my head and should at least write them down.
I’m slowly jumping back on the fit train, but it so hard. I lost 18 lbs last year and then gained 8 back. I’m glad to still be down 10, but I have a long way to go. The weather has been keeping us indoors, which really sucks.
Congrats to you on getting so close to your pre-pregnancy weight! That is fabulous and the fact that you’re doing it on your own is even better. I honestly have found that I do better on my own when I’m being good than I do on some sort of plan. Even though WW is really flexible, I still find it too much to keep track of. I know what I should and shouldn’t be eating, plain and simple. It’s a matter of doing it.
I’m with you on being more efficient with shopping. We need to get on a better schedule in this household and I really need to start buying the Sunday paper and collecting coupons. I’m all about saving these days.
Sorry for the uber-long comment. I haven’t caught up with you in forever!
First of all, don't beat yourself up about the baby weight. Trust me. Girl, I didn't lose all of the weight after having Malia until nearly 10 months after she was born. 10 months. I wasn't one of those fortunate women who shed the weight right away. Of course, gaining about 60 pounds while pregnant didn't help either, but still. It will come off in time. You're doing a great job with watching what you eat & getting out with T in the stroller!! :-)
Speaking of T and the stoller, Aidan and I did Stroller Strides for a few months way back when. It was a lot of fun. It really sucked on the cold mornings, but still. It was a great way to get out of the house and exercise. We had Malia's 3rd birthday party at The Little Gym. We never went back. Wait, no, we did. Malia had a tumbling class. We went a handful of times. She hated it and so did I. I had a similar experience (with Aidan) with the Gymboree classes. It's fun, but it's a lot of money to pay when your kid is NOT interested in sitting still.
I can relate to getting on a cleaning schedule. I have a Motivated Moms calendar (this year I have the iPhone app) But it has you do a little bit everyday (about an hour) My house is clean and I never have to spring clean. You can google Motivated Moms and find the planner to download. It has been a life saver and I am less stressed about cleaning my house.
Only 3 away from pre pregnancy?! That's FABULOUS! Good for you.
How about a girls night/craft night this month? I think I'm gonna send an email :)
