Goals, Starbucks & Free Jeans?

This morning I crossed off one of my March goals - getting my hair "did"! I had been putting it off because I didn't think I could take Trey and I really enjoy our Saturday mornings as a family and I hate to give that up for a hair appointment.

Silly, I know.

Well, last week Lis mentioned that she was going to see K, our hairdresser. (Sidenote - Stuttering Shell, A Trucker Wife, In No Simple Language, Whitney Caroline Designs, and MJ who reads our blogs but doesn't blog herself and I all go see the same hairdresser!) I thought hmmm maybe we could go together and play hot potato with Trey while she did each one of us?

She said sure and Michelle signed up to be our early morning "Starbucks Fairy"! Which lets be real, I need. Trey and I usually aren't up and moving that early.

Trey was good and excited to see all of his ladies. He took a decent nap in the salon.

He is such a Mama's boy...

While we were at the Salon Lis gave us coupons for FREE jeans at Old Navy!! Yep, 100% free. Any ankle jeans under $34.50 to be exact.

This Mama right here desperately needs some new clothes - and I'm so in between pre-pregnancy-maternity-post pregnancy clothes... Ahem... none of these fit.

So I headed on Old Navy and picked these awesome dark cropped pants up!

(The cashier wrote her name on the receipt and what kind of coupon it was just in case I needed to return them! She was more than helpful!)

So I'm sure you are all thinking ok... how the heck did she get these coupons?

She got them through Crowdtap!

I'm excited to see what other types of samples they send out moving forward!! Let me know if you have any questions at all!

Hey! I've been a reader for awhile and just realized you live in Virginia Beach too! I'm new to the area and need to get my hair done... your post caught my eye! Can you send me your hairdresser's info?

Hi - replying to Katie, I know this is a few years old, but I found this still looking for something relevant and we work at a Virginia Beach hair salon, if you are still in the area and haven't found some place to get your hair done here that feels like home for you yet, we would love to be your salon! Shearblissvb. com and check us out, we post photos in our gallery all the time so you can see all the new styles and looks we're doing. : ) Girl has a point, nothing feels better than getting your hair done!
